!The new replay rules on scoring plays will help coaches save their challenges.

  • A replay official now must confirm all scoring plays, saving coaches from using one of their two challenges. Coaches will still be granted a third challenge if their first two challenges are upheld, however. Elimination of the third challenge was proposed. * A vote to rewrite the defenseless player protection rules, currently broken into eight separate categories, has been tabled. * Double-foul penalties at the end of the half will carry over to the second half. * Teams cannot change the color of their fields without league consent.
