IRVING, Texas -- It looks as though Jeremy Mincey has finally undergone surgery for the elbow injury that bothered him during the 2015 season.
Mincey posted a photo to his personal Instagram account late Tuesday night, affirming that the surgery was successful and he was on the mend.

Shortly after the Cowboys' regular season finale, Mincey told reporters that bone spurs in the elbow had hindered him throughout the season. He said he intended to have surgery but never gave an indication of when.
"This arm ain't been able to straighten out since the offseason," Mincey said at the time.
Perhaps that's at least part of the reason why Mincey's play dropped off so dramatically in 2015. He was the Cowboys' sack leader during their 12-4 run to the playoffs two years ago, but he finished his second season with the team having posted just 19 tackles and no sacks.
Mincey is set to enter free agency next month, having finished his two-year contract in Dallas. He said back in January that he'd be happy to return to the team in 2016 -- though his words weren't necessarily optimistic about that possibility.
"I just hate it ended this way," he said. "Who knows what the future brings. I'm just optimistic about the future. I plan on going on a real thorough training this offseason, getting my elbow fixed and take my game to heights I know it can go."
In two seasons with the Cowboys, Mincey notched 65 tackles and six sacks. He has 226 total tackles and 26 sacks in his 10-year career.
