2024 Fan of the Year

Amanda_2024

Amanda Foster

For Amanda, the Dallas Cowboys have been more than a team, but rather, a way of life. The origin of her fandom for America's Team hearkens back to 1995, when she attended a Cowboys playoff game with her father during the team's eventual Super Bowl run. Since then, Amanda has been on a mission to live and breathe blue and silver. As the owner of countless jerseys and a vast collection of memorabilia, Amanda's home has become a tribute to the team throughout the decades. From the helmet signed by the members of the 'Great Wall of Dallas', to the autographed Dak Prescott Man of the Year picture hanging on her wall, she displays her curation proudly.

Amanda's love and devotion to the Dallas Cowboys has been contagious. About 8 years ago, Amanda acquired the #DC4L Facebook site, a private fan page created exclusively for Cowboys fans to connect, discuss the team, and express their fandom in a safe and uplifting environment. Today, the #DC4L fan club boasts over 150k members. As if the frequent discourse with her fellow Cowboys fans on social media wasn't enough, Amanda has also launched a #DC4L podcast, which she often joins before each game to help breakdown the Cowboys' upcoming match-up.

Amanda is just as much a fan of those around her as she is of the Cowboys. She harnesses her fan club platform to perform various acts of community outreach, such as an annual Thanksgiving meal fundraiser, jersey and memorabilia drives for young Cowboys fans, ticket giveaways, and road game experiences for families hoping to watch the Cowboys play for the first time. Amanda represents the passion, spirit, and dedication of Cowboys Nation, and football fans across the country!

2023 International Fan of the Year

Eduardo_2023

Eduardo Flores Sanchez

Mexico

Dallas Cowboys International Fan of the Year nominee, Eduardo Flores, hails from Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico and has been a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys his entire life. Eduardo was introduced to the Cowboys at a young age through his father, who was also a passionate fan of the team. Eduardo and his father shared a close bond over their love for the Cowboys, watching every game together, proudly wearing team gear, and many times flying to Texas together to cheer on the Cowboys in person.

Sadly, Eduardo's father passed away a few years back, and the young Cowboys fan no longer had someone in his life that he could share his fervor for the team with. In his father's honor, Eduardo began the Cowboys Nation MX fan club, which now boasts over 35k followers, as a platform to continue to talk about the team he loves with others in Mexico who share the same devotion to the Dallas Cowboys. While dealing with the absence and loss of his late father, Eduardo found inspiration to continue forward and appreciate life through Dak Prescott and his 'Ask 4 Help' campaign promoting mental health awareness. He credits Dak for not only giving him the strength to overcome the loss of his father, but also learning how recognize signs of struggle in others and effective ways in which he can provide help.

Eduardo now manages a handful of budding social media pages, covering both the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL for Mexican fans, as well as his own podcast. It is clear that Eduardo has dedicated his time and heart to the team, and we are very excited that he will get to represent the Dallas Cowboys organization at the 2024 NFL Draft as our International Fan of the Year!

Chase_2021

Chase Smith

Chase Smith has been bleeding blue and silver since he was born in May of 1992. His Dallas Cowboys fandom was inherited from both sets of his grandparents who became Cowboys fans in 1960, when the team was created. Chase's father, after watching all 5 Super Bowl wins, taught Chase at a young age the passion and dedication associated with being a Dallas Cowboys fanatic.

When Chase was ten years old, he was moved to Montana, leaving his extended family in Texas. Despite the physical distance, their love for Dallas Cowboys football kept them close and gave Chase a sense of comfort in his new state. His fandom also gave him a sense of identity in his new hometown where everyone grew to know him as the biggest Cowboys fan in the world. Chase spreads his love for the Cowboys through meeting new people, growing social media fan groups and socializing with other fans who share his passion.

A family running 4 generations deep, Chase plans to continue the family tradition by instilling the same passion and fandom for the Dallas Cowboys with his own young son so he can experience the comradery and love that make the Dallas Cowboys truly America's Team.
