Less than a week after the Cowboys parted ways with Andre Gurode, the Baltimore Ravens announced they've agreed to a one-year contract with the five-time Pro Bowl center.
Gurode will provide center depth with Ravens starter Matt Birk coming off knee surgery.
Gurode, too, had knee surgery in the offseason and lost his job to Cowboys second-year center Phil Costa. The Cowboys saved $5.5 million in 2011 by releasing Gurode. He had started 122 games at guard and center since 2002.
Gurode also visited the Seahawks and Patriots.
