Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper missed most of Wednesday's practice with a right ankle injury, however the club does not seem concerned about his availability for Sunday's showdown in New Orleans.
Cooper, who did receive an MRI for precautionary reasons, has been bothered by issues with his left foot. The Cowboys had listed him on the injury report for the last two weeks and was prepared to remove him from the list before Wednesday's new injury.
So far this season, Cooper has been one of the NFL's most productive players, tied for the league lead with four touchdown catches. He is the Cowboys' leading receivers with 16 catches for 238 yards.
The Cowboys certainly can't afford any more setbacks at wide receiver with Michael Gallup expected to miss his second straight game after undergoing surgery to remove his meniscus in his knee. Tavon Austin has missed two games with a concussion but was able to return to practice.
