The Cowboys added nine more players to the roster on the reserve/future list Monday, including three players who have been with the club in some capacity.
The most notable is wide receiver Anthony Armstrong, a four-year veteran who spent a few weeks with the Cowboys this past season before getting cut in mid-December. He has top-end speed and will likely benefit from a full offseason to learn the Cowboys' system.
Other players who are back include long snapper Charley Hughlett, who had a good training camp and might even compete for the job depending on what the Cowboys do with veteran L.P. Ladouceur, who is an unrestricted free agent.
The Cowboys also brought back up tight end Colin Cochart, who spent a week with the team early this season when Jason Witten was dealing with the lacerated spleen injury.
Veteran free agency doesn't begin until early March.
