Marion Barber, decked out in full pads like the rest of his teammates, trotted onto the practice field for the first time in two weeks. The calf strain injury that kept out of the last two games has apparently healed enough to practice, although it's likely Barber will be listed with limited participation.
Now what this means for the running back rotation is uncertain. Tashard Choice filled in nicely against the Colts two weeks ago, rushing for 100 yards, just the second 100-yard game for the Cowboys this season. But Choice (seven carries, 16 yards) wasn't that effective last week against a much-tougher Eagles run defense.
Maybe a bigger question than if Barber comes back for Choice is if he comes back to his starting position over Felix Jones.
Either way, look for Barber to be back into the mix this week in some capacity.
