The Cowboys pride themselves on doing everything as a team. Regardless of the outcome on the field, the goal is for the players, coaches and entire organization to come together as one.
However, there are always standouts that rise above the rest.
In the month of November, the Cowboys again won every game, cruising to the best record in the NFL at 10-1.
Let's look back at November's 3 Stars of the Month, voted on by the DallasCowboys.com staff and presented by Benrus.
Dak Prescott
Three months down, and three straight winners for Prescott of this award. No one could've predicted 10 straight victories with any quarterback leading the way, much less a rookie. But by now, Prescott certainly isn't playing like a first-year signal-caller. In fact, Prescott's numbers were the best in November than any other months. He finished each game with a QB rating over 100.0, including a 141.8 mark against the Browns. For the month of November, Prescott had nine touchdown passes and no interceptions. He also had consecutive 300-yard passing games against Pittsburgh and Baltimore. And if that's not enough, he's starting to make plays with his legs on a consistent basis. In all four wins this month, Prescott had a rush of at least 12 yards, including two more TDs on the ground, giving him five this season.
[embeddedad0]Dez Bryant
After missing three games in October, Bryant returned to action – and form – in the month of November, doing Dez-like things once again. He only had one catch for 19 yards in Cleveland, but after that, the Pro Bowler was a difference maker in helping the Cowboys beat the Steelers. Dez had six catches for 116 yards, including a go-ahead touchdown catch of 53 yards in the third quarter. The following game, he had his first two-touchdown game of the season, hauling in a pair of scores in his six-catch, 80-yard performance. Against the Redskins last week, Bryant had a feisty battle with Josh Norman, but still hauled in five receptions for 72 yards.
Ezekiel Elliott
This wasn't Zeke's best month of the season, but still better than any other back this year, and better than most backs in any year. This rookie is taking the NFL by storm and November was really no exception. While Elliott had just one 100-yard game this month, he rushed for at least 92 yards in all four games. His 114-yard rushing game, along with 95 yards receiving against Pittsburgh marked one of the greatest individual performances by a Cowboys rookie in franchise history. Not only did Elliott score the go-ahead touchdown with less than two minutes to play, but came back and score again with nine seconds left to give Dallas the exciting comeback win. Against the Redskins on Thanksgiving, Elliott had 97 yards rushing with two more touchdowns, giving him 11 this year.
