FRISCO, Texas – Offensive tackle Chaz Green got out of his walking boot Monday and says he's making progress with his right foot injury.
"I'm getting stronger," he said. "I'm getting my movement in there, doing some movement stuff and I think it's progressing well."
Green, the Cowboys' swing tackle, made two straight starts for All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith against the Bears and 49ers. He injured his foot in the 49ers game and was inactive this past Sunday against the Bengals. Smith returned from a back injury and started at left tackle.
The Cowboys return to practice Wednesday. Green says he's taking things day to day and focusing on his rehab with the athletic training staff.
