IRVING, Texas --After missing the first two practice days on this short week, starting center Phil Costa (concussion) had limited participation in Thursday's final workout.
Head coach Jason Garrett said Costa, who left last Sunday's loss to the Giants, passed the league's concussion-symptom testing this week and is on schedule to play Saturday if he continues to respond well.
Garrett didn't rule out the possibility of Kowalski starting against Tampa Bay, though.
"We'll see," Garrett said. "(Costa) has had no symptoms since the ball game. We've gone through the protocol, so he's on schedule. He didn't do anything the last couple days, but we intended that right from the start.
"He is on schedule to be able to play if he responds well here in the next couple of days."
