IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys released the tentative dates for their 2016 training camp on Friday. With the team's mandatory minicamp concluded, all eyes will be on Oxnard, Calif., where this summer's camp will begin on July 28.
The Cowboys have 14 practices scheduled for their three week stay on the West Coast. They'll also open their preseason against the Los Angeles Rams at the L.A. Coliseum before returning home for their preseason home opener against the Miami Dolphins.
The key dates for the entire 2016 training camp and preseason are listed below:

NFL rules stipulate that teams can practice no more than four consecutive days without a day off, and the Cowboys will also take several days off due to travel constraints and preseason games.
The team is tentatively scheduled to take off days on July 29, Aug. 3, Aug. 8, Aug. 12, Aug. 14 and Aug. 18.
