The Cowboys have claimed offensive lineman Mike McQueen, who was recently cut by the Chargers. McQueen, an undrafted rookie from Ohio University, was waived last week by San Diego and should be able to get to Cowboys training camp in Oxnard rather quickly.
McQueen (6-6, 287) is listed as a guard but has experience, and the body type, to play tackle.
To make room on the roster, the Cowboys have cut wide receiver Ed Eagan, an undrafted rookie from Northwestern State. The move is somewhat surprising considering Eagan was not only a solid route-runner, but has been used on special teams as one of the kick and punt returners.
