IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys now know the 52 players they'll be coaching next week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Notable names on the North team roster include North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz, who just led his school to the FCS championship two weeks ago in Frisco, Texas; Penn State All-Big Ten defensive tackle Austin Johnson; and Penn State defensive end Carl Nassib, who led the nation in sacks (15.5) in 2014 and tied for second with six forced fumbles.
Early draft projections have Wentz as a possible first-round or Day 2 pick. The other quarterbacks on the North roster are Stanford's Kevin Hogan, USC's Cody Kessler and Louisiana Tech's Jeff Driskel.
Backup quarterback is a well-established area of need for the Cowboys following this year's 4-12 record, including 11 losses with Tony Romo injured.
Braxton Miller, a three-year starting quarterback at Ohio State who converted to wide receiver in 2014 as a senior, is on the North squad. Louisiana Tech's Kenneth Dixon leads a group of three running backs.
Also on the North roster is Notre Dame guard Nick Martin, brother of Cowboys' All-Pro guard Zack Martin.

"We're looking forward to the opportunity to coach in the Senior Bowl," Garrett said. "It's a great chance to get to spend time with the best players in the country, and all the people associated with the game do a great job of hosting the coaches and personnel people from around the NFL throughout the week. It's a very beneficial experience for everyone involved."
The 2016 NFL Draft is April 28-30. The Cowboys have the fourth overall pick in the first round.
