The Dallas Cowboys Women's Association will host their second FIRST & GOAL charity "Yard Sale" to benefit Nexus Recovery Center for Women and Girls on Saturday, June 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hunt Middle School in Frisco, Texas.
From bunk beds to pots and pans, the FIRST & GOAL Yard Sale will feature gently used household items, electronics, children's toys, appliances, clothing and much more donated by the families of Dallas Cowboys players, coaches and front office executives. The event will also include an exciting silent auction with exclusive sports memorabilia, gift certificates and other unique items.
Throughout the day, event partner Low Country Quisine will be offering an interactive "cupcake raffle" where customers can walk away with a variety of Cowboys prizes along with their sweet treat. Prizes include tickets to a 2014 Dallas Cowboys regular season home game, VIP tour packages of AT&T Stadium, autographed footballs and much more. Low Country Quisine chef Jolie Ramize will also offer a selection of menu items for patrons to consume while browsing or to take home, with a portion of sales benefiting the cause.
Proceeds from the FIRST & GOAL yard sale benefit Nexus Recovery Center, a Dallas nonprofit at the forefront of specialized substance abuse services for females. Nexus removes barriers by allowing children to accompany their mothers into treatment, welcoming those who are pregnant and providing treatment regardless of ability to pay.
Over the last 43 years, Nexus has been the "miracle in between" addiction and recovery for more than 23,000 women, adolescents and children. For more information, visit Nexus on the web at www.nexusrecovery.org.
