Last night was a good night to be Tony Romo. A week after the Cowboys released him and he announced he was stepping away from football, the Dallas Mavericks honored him by making him a key figure at their last home game of the season.
Fans who were wishing to see Tony Romo suit up one last time got a chance to see just that, except only for a different Dallas-area sports team. While Romo didn't actually get to see any minutes, he was a part of the team's warmups and even got announced in the starting lineup. Fans in attendance got to see a tribute unlike any other to the former 14-year Cowboys quarterback.
