FRISCO, Texas – Once again, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott led the Cowboys to a thrilling comeback win.
Once again, the rookies are up for league-wide recognition.
With two fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns in last Sunday's 35-30 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Elliott is among three candidates for the Week 10 FedEx Ground Player of the Week and the Week 10 Castrol Edge Clutch Performer award.
Elliott and Prescott are also among five nominees for the Week 10 Pepsi Rookie of the Week award. Elliott had 209 all-purpose yards against Pittsburgh and three total touchdowns, including an electric 83-yard catch and run for a touchdown – the longest scoring catch by a rookie in team history.
Prescott completed 22 of 32 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns for a 121.7 passer rating, making him the first rookie in NFL history to have seven starts with a 100-plus rating in his team's first nine games of a season.
