The girls are back in town for season 13 of "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team!"
The first episode of the new season kicks off with preliminary auditions for the 2018-2019 squad. Hundreds of DCC hopefuls showed up to AT&T Stadium with clear eyes, full hearts, and full of hope!
Performers, choreographers, sponsors, members of the media and more sit on this year's judges' panel. Hoping to impress the judges are former NBA, NFL, NHL, and college dancers, representing 32 states from across the country.
The preliminary round starts with five girls coming to the stage, introducing themselves with their dance background and some fun facts, then a free style dance to a randomly selected song for 90 seconds. Can they dance, do they have rhythm and technique, and are they teachable? These are some of the things that the judges must consider as they watch prelims.
Several girls are coming back to auditions after previously being cut in training camp. Will this year finally be their year?
Two DCC legacies are auditioning for the squad. Will this be the year they follow in their mothers' footsteps?
The infamous white board with the numbers of the candidates moving on to semifinals will be released, and we can't wait to find out whose number will written be on there!
100 girls will move on, so be sure to tune in next week to see how they perform at semifinals!
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on CMT.
