IRVING, Texas – Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant joined Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins to kick off the seventh annual Home for the Holidays toy drive and adopt-a-family campaign Tuesday morning at Dallas City Hall.
Bryant joined the campaign to address the growing need to adopt families during the holiday season and spoke at the event.
The need for the Home for the Holidays celebration campaign continues to grow in District 8 with more families feeling the effects of the economic downturn.
The goal of the campaign is to bring holiday joy to as many families as possible. Those wishing to contribute have the opportunity to drop off unwrapped new toys, clothing or gift cards at Dallas City Hall in the Flag Room after the press conference.
