He’s an outstanding red-zone threat with a massive catch radius and the ability to high-point the football. Holker is a flexible receiver with great hands, having finished his college career with very few drops. Strains defenses by forcing safeties to cover. Is a mismatch for linebackers. | Long strider who takes some time to get going, not a quick burst receiver. Because of this, Holker’s change of direction suffers and limits him to more of a straight-line prospect. Enters the league with some injury history, including a hefty ankle issue in 2022 |
OVERVIEW: Colorado State has recently shined in producing legitimate NFL tight end prospects. First it was Trey McBride in 2022, now it's his replacement for the Rams. Holker was a finalist for the John Mackey Award in 2023 with 64 receptions for 767 yards and six touchdowns, all numbers that finished among the top three for a tight end in program history. Prior to Colorado State, he was productive in three seasons at BYU from 2019-22. Teams could hesitate on a player like Holker, but with the recent small-school track record, he could be a steal.
