FRISCO, Texas – For the first time since the Senior Bowl, the cast of "The Draft Show" reconvened to discuss what has happened in the past week.
Here are some of the highlights of the show, as Bryan Broaddus, Dane Brugler and David Helman continued to break down this 2019 NFL Draft class.
· The show started out with a recap of the Senior Bowl, as the guys broke down the winners from last week's work in Mobile, Ala. Notable riser included Kansas State offensive tackle Dalton Risner and USC offensive tackle Chuma Edoga, as well as several noteworthy wide receivers.
· There was also plenty of debate about this year's crop of quarterbacks, as the crew tried to sort out how they feel about Senior Bowl quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Drew Lock. There was also some discussion of Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who appears to be the consensus No. 1 quarterback as a junior. Of course, no quarterback discussion would be complete with some analysis of Kyler Murray and his potential draft stock.
· As always, the show included fan questions. Some of Thursday's debates centered around the Cowboys' draft needs – namely, what do they need more in this year's draft? There was also a discussion about the biggest reach in this year's class, as well as the best slot receivers in this class.
· The final segment was a bit of a free-for-all, as the guys debated the draft's best prospects and where they might fit in various schemes around the league.
