Elliott's Heroics Earns Him Two More Weekly Awards

So which is stronger? The success of the Cowboys' rookies or the support from Cowboys Nation for these young superstars in the making?

Either way, the two have proven to be strong duo as the fans have once again spoken, voting Ezekiel Elliott for two awards this week.

He became the third straight Cowboys player to win Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week as quarterback Dak Prescott won each of the past two weeks.

Elliott's three-touchdown performance in Pittsburgh, capped by a game-winning touchdown run with only nine seconds remaining, lifted him over other candidates, including Prescott, along with Seattle's C.J. Prosise, Philly's Carson Wentz and Denver's Justin Simmons.

Elliott also won the vote for the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week, thanks to the two touchdown runs in the final two minutes. He beat out Kansas City's Marcus Peters, Philly's Ryan Mathews, Denver's Simmons and Arizona kicker Chandler Catanzaro.
