IRVING, Texas --Though still not practicing with an undetermined illness, Tony Fiammetta told reporters Wednesday that he's feeling better and might be ready to return as soon as the Dec. 11 division showdown against the Giants.
"In the past couple of days I made a bunch of strides," said Fiammetta, who is back attending meetings at Valley Ranch. "It's just we have to see how it goes this week and hopefully the rest of the season this won't come up again."
Fiammetta had been experiencing dizziness and nausea when he exercises, and the root of the symptoms is still uncertain. But he told reporters it's not a career-threatening issue, and his vegan diet is not a cause.
Fiammetta's eventual return would be a big boost for the offense. Before missing the last two games, his lead blocking led to three 100-yard rushing performances from DeMarco Murray in a four-game span.
