FRISCO, Texas – Free agent defensive end Ryan Davis has agreed to sign with Buffalo, the Bills announced on Monday.
Signed to a one-year deal by the Cowboys after the 2016 season opener, Davis played 155 defensive snaps in nine games and recorded three tackles and six quarterback pressures.
Davis is the second Cowboys defensive end (Jack Crawford; Falcons) and sixth Cowboys free agent to join a new team since the new league year began last Thursday: Barry Church (Jaguars), J.J. Wilcox (Bucs), Ronald Leary (Broncos), Terrell McClain (Redskins).
The Cowboys signed former Giants third-round pick Damontre Moore for defensive end depth last Friday. They've also issued an exclusive rights free agent tender to defensive end David Irving.
