Potentially a top target of the Cowboys in free agency, guard Carl Nicks told a New Orleans Times-Picayune reporter (via PFT) on Wednesday that he would love to stay with the Saints.
Nicks also acknowledged how many other priority free agents the Saints have, including Drew Brees, Marques Colston and cornerback Tracy Porter, but said the team has expressed its desire to keep him.
A 6-5, 343-pounder who played for Cowboys line coach Bill Callahan at Nebraska, Nicks was an All-Pro the last two seasons.
At 26, he would have a chance to land the largest contract for a guard in league history if he were to test the free agent market in March.
