SAN FRANCISCO – On top of the bumps and bruises at all of the Cowboys' offensive skill positions, the line didn't escape unscathed either, as center Phil Costa suffered an aggravation of the PCL sprain which cut his preseason in half.
Costa had yet to undergo definitive testing as to the extent of the injury Sunday night. He was replaced in the fourth quarter by undrafted rookie Kevin Kowalski, and did not return.
