FRISCO, Texas– Three Cowboys starters missed portions of Sunday's season opener due to injury, but head coach Jason Garrett indicated left tackle Tyron Smith, cornerback Orlando Scandrick and wide receiver Cole Beasley would be fine this week moving forward.
Smith, who dealt with a stinger in preseason, left for five plays in the second half with a similar injury but returned to finish the game.
"He's a tough guy," Garrett said. "He's going to fight his way through it."
Beasley said he suffered a stinger on the Cowboys' final offensive possession in the fourth quarter.
Scandrick, fully recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him in 2015, briefly left in the first half with a hamstring injury.
