Fitting In: Polk is another young Cowboys' wide receiver looking to force the team to take six wide outs on the final 53-man roster. With five rookies or first-year receivers competing for the final spot, though, Polk's main competition may be for a place on the practice squad.
So Far: Polk has yet to make a significant impact at training camp, receiving minimal reps during practice and no time in the first preseason game. The rookie will have to show the Cowboys more if he wants to secure a spot on the practice squad, which would buy him time to continue making the transition from college quarterback to NFL wide receiver.
Best Asset: Agility. Polk has the ability to make quick moves which helps him come in and out of his breaks on routes. He has stayed late after almost every practice refining his route-running, working with quarterbacks Richard Bartel and Jeff Terrell.
You Should Know: Polk is a big fan of poetry, stating the artist "Black Ice" is his favorite poet.
A Mouthful: "Go hard every play. If you make a mistake, make it at 100 miles-per-hour."
