EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – While the Cowboys are getting some key players back this week from injuries, two keys absences will be at linebacker. As expected, Sean Lee and Justin Durant will not play because of hamstring injuries.

The Cowboys will start Ernie Sims in the middle with Justin Wilber at strong-side linebacker, opposite of Bruce Carter, who is expected to call the defensive plays.

Newly-signed linebacker Orie Lemon joined the team Wednesday and is expected to play.

Along with Lee and Durant, the other inactives are tight end Andre Smith, tackle Darrion Weems, safety Jakar Hamilton, defensive tackle Everett Dawkins and linebacker DeVonte Holloman, who was supposed to start on the outside before re-aggravating a neck injury this week in practice.

Holloman initially was going to be one of a handful of returning players this week, including Miles Austin, Morris Claiborne, Jason Hatcher and J.J. Wilcox.

The Giants' inactives include wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and running back Peyton Hillis, along with cornerback Corey Webster, tight end Adrien Robinson, defensive tackle Markus Kuhn, center Dallas Reynolds and quarterback Ryan Nassib.
