A while back I heard that we should get a good share of compensatory picks in the upcoming draft. Do you have an idea yet of how many and/or which rounds? And will that give us flexibility with some of our other picks to possibly trade up? Thanks
Bryan: I like to check a site called OverTheCap.com – which is usually pretty good at predicting which way those picks might fall. The last I checked they had them down for a 4th and several in the 6th so that would be a nice haul if that's the case.
David:It's always hard to predict, but given the number of free agents that left last year – Dwayne Harris, Justin Durant, Sterling Moore, Bruce Carter – I think the Cowboys should be in line for three or four compensatory picks. The big fish is obviously DeMarco Murray, but I believe the signing of Greg Hardy will likely negate that.

I read that the Cowboys staff is coaching at the Senior Bowl. Does this, if any, give Dallas an advantage in scouting the seniors?
Bryan: Huge advantage. Not only will they get to work with these players physically but mentally as well. It's like a week of job interviews. If you are going to have a bad record, get the high draft picks and coach in the Senior Bowl is the ideal situation.
David:I think it's worth pointing out that both Zack Martin and La'el Collins participated in the Senior Bowl in recent years. There are talented players heading to Mobile, and the Cowboys will have a chance to work closely with them for a week. It's a big advantage.
