You Should've Seen:
Just a couple of days after Stephen Bowen got pushed around during a look-see at nose tackle, the second-year defensive end had his chance to embarrass an offensive lineman. During one-on-one pass rushing drills Bowen came with a bull rush and ran right over left tackle Pat McQuistan. "It just happened like that - I tried to give him a little stutter-step and he got caught off balance," Bowen said. It looked good, though.
Who's Hot:
Fourth-year linebacker Junior Glymph has turned some heads the last few days with his pass-rushing, and today he showed he can cover as well. Glymph stepped in front of a Brad Johnson pass and returned it for about 20 yards before being caught from behind. "He moves well for a big man and is learning and working hard," Phillips said.
Who's Not:
Punter Mat McBriar may be the best player at his position on the team, but the Aussie struggled a bit during the morning session, shanking a couple punts. McBriar will have plenty of chances to make up for it during the afternoon special teams practice, though.
