Offensive Tackle Joining Practice Squad

IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys are expected to sign former Texas Tech offensive tackle Brandon Carter with their eighth and final practice squad spot.

Carter has spent time with the Saints and Buccaneers since becoming an undrafted free agent in 2010. He appeared in one game with Tampa Bay last season.

One practice squad spot opened last Friday when the Cowboys signed running back Chauncey Washington to the active roster.
