Question: If there was one superhero you could be, who would it be and why?
Byron: I would say Spiderman because he can climb on things. That sounds pretty fun to me.

Question: How have these past few days been since you've gotten drafted by the Cowboys? How has life changed?
Byron: It's been great for me. I've just been hanging out, kind of laying low. It's been great knowing I'm a Cowboy.

Question: What on the field skill set specific to your defensive position do you bring to the Cowboys and which of those skills sets you apart and makes you a number one draft pick?
Byron: I would have to say my versatility, being able to play two positions, two base positions on the defense.

Question: Which position do you enjoy playing more, Cornerback or Safety?
Byron: I'd have to say cornerback. Cornerback is fun, it's challenging. It's a position I enjoyed playing my last two years in college.

Question: Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?
Byron: The Giants. My dad was a Giants fan, so I had to follow his lead.

Question: What's your goal for your first season with the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL?
Byron: Try to play as much as possible through special-teams and defensive reps from a starter or from a backup. Just play as much as I can and contribute to the team.

Question: Why did you pick to wear No. 31?
Byron: All of the numbers that I could choose from were in the 30s and I thought 31 looked the best so I said 'Hey, I think it will look good on me.'

Question: Did you ever think you'd play for the Dallas Cowboys, America's Team?
Byron: Not at all. It's one of those teams that a lot of people hate and a lot of people love, so to be on this team is just amazing.

Byron: (laughing) I'm all done with Prom, can't go back.

Question: Byron, congrats on being drafted by the Cowboys. My question is what is your favorite football memory when you were growing up?
Byron: It was my first or second year playing football, I was on defense, I was defensive line by the way, and the quarterback fumbled the ball so I picked it up and I didn't know what to do with it so I gave it back to the referee. My brother was on the team too, so he was making fun of me he was yelling 'Run, run,' but I had no clue what to do so I just gave the ball back. I was seven or eight at the time and clueless at the time.

Byron: I own two cats so I'm a cat person.

Question: What were your emotions going through at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago when you went on the stage and shook the commissioner's hand after hearing you were drafted by the Cowboys?
Byron: I couldn't have been any happier. There are a lot of good teams in the NFL, but nothing like the Cowboys. Just to know that I was going to the Cowboys, I was ecstatic.

Question: As a UConn alum, I want to know what made you chose to play at the University of Connecticut?
Byron: I saw UConn's football moving in the right direction and they had good academics.

Question: Do you have any nicknames? If so, what's the story behind them?
Byron: In high school my coaches used to call me Spider because I used to jump around and move around kind of like a spider. My trainers in college called me The Senator because I did an internship at the State Capitol in Connecticut and then one in Washington D.C.

Byron: The first and only concert I've been to is Wiz Khalifa.

Byron: My grandfather on my dad's side. Probably Jerry Jones, that'd be cool to sit down with him again. I guess I'll go with Michael Jordan for the last person.
