FRISCO, Texas – More victories, more award nominations.
Nothing new around here but the fans continue to vote in the Cowboys, as they have won the Pepsi Rookie of the Week honor for the last three weeks.
And they've got a good shot at making it four straight as both Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have been nominated for the weekly Pepsi award. Other nominees include Patriots receiver Malcom Mitchell, Redskins running back Rob Kelley and Philly's Carson Wentz.
Fans can vote for one of these five players on www.nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 2 pm (CT) to determine the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week. The winner will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.
For the first time this year, Prescott has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week. Other passing nominees are Kirk Cousins and Tom Brady.
Prescott passed for 301 yards with three touchdowns for a 127.2 quarterback rating.
