These team-effort wins are exactly what coaches want. They show a balance between the offense, defense and special teams and usually mean that many players had a key role in the win.
That being said, it's rather hard to pick just 10 players for this week's Top 10 performers.
This list doesn't include three players who actually scored touchdowns in the Cowboys' 37-18 win.
But we found a spot for them in Honorable Mentions:
Jourdan Lewis
Michael Gallup
Blake Jarwin
Chido Awuzie
Maliek Collins
Let's continue with the 10 best players from Monday's game.
The Cowboys found a way to overcome another slow start and pull away from the Giants, thanks to many great individual efforts. This week's Top 10 focuses on Monday's top performers, headlined by veteran Sean Lee.

10. Jason Witten - What a fitting night for Witten, who just a year ago was calling games for Monday Night Football. And now, he's playing in one, and also providing a spark. Witten caught a team-high eight passes on nine targets. They were mostly short stuff, totaling just 58 yards but some of them were clutch third-down catches that moved the sticks. Witten's catches were able to open up the running games and some big passes down the field.

9. Michael Bennett - If one game is any indication, Bennett's acquisition could be a big difference-maker for this defense. The Cowboys lost a versatile inside/outside rusher in Tyrone Crawford, but Bennett was able to provide even more rush from the tackle spot. He was relentless all game, getting a sack, four hits on the quarterback and two tackles for loss. He did have some issues with penalties, but his stat line makes up for the miscues. It was quite a debut for Bennett.

8. Dak Prescott - Talk about a bounce-back game. After his first throw, Dak didn't look like he was headed towards a QB rating over 100.0 - much less a victory. But Prescott responded nicely after the pick on the first play of the game. His TD pass to Blake Jarwin showed his improvisational skills, while he had a superb pass to Cooper for the final touchdown to put the game away.

7. Amari Cooper - This game looked pretty close to the last time Cooper was in this stadium. He only played a handful of snaps against the JEts before leaving with a quad injury. After another slow start, which included getting his knee looked at, Cooper was able to return to action this time. And he was a big factor in the game, catching four passes for 80 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the game. Cooper also drew a key pass interference penalty earlier on that drive that might've been the turning point in the game.

6. Jaylon Smith - From the start, Smith had a big play when he stopped Barkely in the hole near the goal line. The Cowboys' linebacker was active all night, posting 12 sacks and splitting a sack with Robert Quinn. The Cowboys might've been without Vander Esch, but Smith and Lee stepped up for a dozen tackles each.

5. Xavier Woods - For the second straight week, Woods came away with an interception but this one was a pivotal play in the Cowboys' comeback. Just before the half, Woods looked like a centerfielder, hauling in Daniel Jones' pass and Woods' 29-yard return to set up a field goal. Woods also recovered a fumble in the second half that also led to points.

4. DeMarcus Lawrence - He would've been higher on the list had it not been for a couple of penalties. But D-Law set the tone early in the game with some big-time pressures that got the defense off the field. He finished the game with a sack, four tackles (two for loss) and three hits on the quarterback.

3. Offensive Line - We usually try to give it to a single player, but this unit was rather exceptional across the board. The tackles kept Dak Prescott in the pocket for the most part, both guards - Martin and Williams did a great job in space and provided running lanes for Zeke, as did Travis Frederick. It was a group that played together, and did so in a hostile environment. They should be honored together as well.

2. Ezekiel Elliott - Zeke posted his fifth 100-yard game of the season, totaling 139 yards. He didn't find the end zone and didn't catch a pass out of the backfield, but Elliott are his presence felt all night, averaging 6.0 yards per carry. When the Cowboys needed to keep the chains moving, Zeke had some big runs, proving once again just how valuable he can be for this offense, even if he's not scoring touchdowns or making highlight runs.

1. Sean Lee - The Cowboys were hopeful Leighton Vander Esch could play through a stinger injury. But they knew it was a position of depth with Sean Lee still in the mix. What the team didn't know was how active Lee would look, posting 12 tackles. He was all over the field and had a huge third-down stop near the goal line that led to a Giants field goal.
