FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys know a thing or two about top-tier pass rushers.
After several years of searching, they finally found an All-Pro defensive end to replace DeMarcus Ware. Fresh off a massive contract extension, DeMarcus Lawrence figures to be terrorizing Cowboys' opponents for the foreseeable future.
But the purpose of this series is to look at just that – the Cowboys' opponents. And in 2019, their offensive line will have to deal with plenty of scary edge rushers in their own right.
Following some extensive film study, here are the 10 best pass rushers on the Cowboys' upcoming schedule.

10. Romeo Okwara: Plays light on his feet. Extends well on the blocker. Doesn't allow him to get to his body. Good wrap up tackler. Plays with range. Opponents have a hard time getting outside of him. Will need to develop better pass rush moves. Can really chase when running from the backside. Can close some ground when he gets in the open field. Shows the ability to create turnovers when he attacks the pocket. His length and reach give blockers problems.

9. Leonard Williams: Plays as an end in an odd man front. Will work up and down the line of scrimmage. Impressive how he deals with double teams. Occupies blockers. He has a nice combination of power and athletic ability. Can be a hard guy to deal with once he gets his sights on the ball carrier. Disruptive in the pocket. Makes things happen. Always on the move. Stays square along the line of scrimmage playing the run. Model of consistency throughout his career.

8. Everson Griffen: Plays well with his hands. Holds the point of attack. Slippery to play around blocks. He is a factor in the running game. Good feel and technique for how to position himself to make stops. Hard guy to cut off. Stays active uses the moves to free himself. Power to knock blocker back into the quarterback. Keeps his eyes on the quarterback. Doesn't get too tied up with the blocker.

7. Trey Flowers: Plays as an end in an odd man front. Plays square along the line of scrimmage. Powerful man. Doesn't have much initial quickness off the snap. Some stiffness in his movements. Plays with solid technique. Good at finding the ball and making his way to it. Packs quite a punch when finishing the play. There are times where his balance needs to be better. Does some good work when moved inside to rush over the center and guards.

6. Brandon Graham: Has been a thorn in the side of the Dallas Cowboys his entire career. Relentless effort and pursuit. Doesn't quit on any down. Have to block him the entire play. Plays with tremendous power. Compact build allows him to get under blockers and drive them to the ball carrier. He is always working to capture the edge. Disruptive in the pocket and around the quarterback. Can't allow him to get that first step or he's going to make you pay. He has always shown the ability to finish plays.

5. Jonathan Allen: Is listed as a defensive end in an odd man front. Will play both over the guard and the tackle during the game. He is not your typical defensive end but will surprise you with his pass rush moves. Can close on the ball well for his size. Powerful guy that has exceptional quickness. Ability to win on the edge. Uses his hands well. Gets off the blocker with power. Hard guy to move when dealing with the double teams. Stays active.

4. Michael Bennett: Slippery player that shows outstanding balance. Will work both ends of the line. Shows initial quickness off the snap. Doesn't quit on his rush. Relentless in the way he plays. Tough to control when he gets the edge. Hard guy to fool on the edge. Will surprise blockers with his upper body strength. Is a nightmare for a tight end to have to block, one-on-one. Packs a pop when he gets into position to finish.

3. Jerry Hughes: This is one of those rushers that you always have to be aware where he is coming from. Knows how to dip his shoulder in order to work under the blocker. Rushes at the level of the quarterback. Disruptive in the pocket. Does a nice job of working the blocker off balance. Can work inside and outside without issues. Plays well on the move. Gets up the field in a hurry but is able to retrace his steps to get back in on the play.

2. Cameron Jordan: Power to push the blocker back into the quarterback. Knows how to avoid blocks. Doesn't give the blocker much of a hitting surface. Keeps the blocker's hands off him. Nice job of retracing his steps when he gets too far up the field. Plenty of tools in the tool belt when it comes to rushing the passer. Is always playing on the move. Outstanding redirection skills. Doesn't get trapped in one spot. Smart player.

1. Danielle Hunter: Long, rangy build. Can cover some ground out on the edge. Plays with tremendous range. Plays off the blocks well. Strong hands. Ability to snatch and pull the blocker out of their stance. Quick to adjust on the move. Can get around the blocker in a hurry. Has a feel for how to set up his rush. Doesn't give block the same look. Ends up at the level of the quarterback. Don't see him getting pushed by. Finisher.
