Emphasizing the fundamentals - frustrating as it's got to be, because that's what training camp is for - is the only way this team's talent can take over again, to regain its competitiveness from that initial five-game stretch but this time execute enough to win those close ones.
Playoffs or not, there are nine weeks left. The season must go on, and the team has to start playing at a level the fans, the owner, they themselves expect. They know they're capable.
If it means getting back to basics, so be it.
