While it nearly was a full week since the Cowboys defeated the Giants last Wednesday and they're already focused on Seattle, Week 1 of the NFL season has just ended.
That means the weekly awards and nominees can get doled out and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is among them.
Romo is a finalst for GMC's Never Say Never Moment of the Week, along with Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and Denver's Peyton Manning, who returned from a one-year layoff.
With the entire country watching the Cowboys take on the defending champions on a rare Wednesday affair, Romo was dynamic in leading the Cowboys to a 24-17 win, snapping a 12-game winning streak for defending Super Bowl champions in the following season openers.
Romo passed for 307 yards, tossing three touchdowns and just one interception for a 129.5 quarterback rating, the third-highest in the NFC.
Sanchez threw three touchdowns as the Jets put up 48 points on the Bills and Manning went for 253 yards and two scores over Pittsburgh in his first game in Denver and his first since 2010.
Fans may vote for one of these three moments on NFL.com/gmc following Monday Night Football and ending on Friday at 2 pm CT to determine the GMC NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT OF THE WEEK. The winner will be announced Friday during NFL Network's "Around the League" show and then posted on NFL.com.
After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year, from among the 17 weekly winners. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.
