IRVING, Texas --Quarterback Tony Romo's fractured rib is getting better by the week, but he expects to take another pain-killing injection before Sunday's game against the Rams and wear a protective vest again.
Hopefully in a couple of weeks, they'll be all the way healed," Romo said. "Still the vest. I think we've got the shot one more week hopefully and then we're done. We'll see. That's what they're telling me."
Romo hasn't needed pain medication to practice, and he has been back to full participation the last couple of weeks. He said he has gotten used to moving and throwing with the vest on.
