IRVING, Texas --Cornerback Mike Jenkins is expected to have surgery sometime next week on the shoulder he dislocated Dec. 11 against the Giants.
Jenkins played through the injury the rest of the season and hoped to avoid surgery.
The fourth-year corner battled several injuries throughout the season, starting with a stinger that sidelined him for most of training camp and preseason. He also played through a knee injury early in the season and missed four games in November and December with a hamstring injury.
Jenkins appeared in 12 games, totaling 24 tackles, one interception and eight pass breakups.
