Fantastic in pass protection, packs a punch. Can move north to south, which was displayed at the combine in his 40-yard dash time. Gets out of his stance quickly, sets his hands and can recover with his feet as well. | Dealt with a cold streak at the end of his college career, allowing a sack in four of his final five games. High pad level and lack of ability to set anchor was the cause of it. |
OVERVIEW: Last year it was Jordan Morgan taking over the offensive-line conversation in NFL Draft circles. Now it's a debate surrounding another durable offensive lineman from Arizona. Savaiinaea began his career as a starter at right guard in 2022 before jumping to right tackle in 2023 and both tackle spots in 2024. Even with over 2,400 snaps along the offensive line, the question of where he fits best is still out there. Some will see him as a solid guard prospect; others will see a swing-tackle candidate, which is valuable on its own, but I see the first one.
