NFL-ready frame and athleticism. Moves really well for his size, especially from sideline to sideline. Fantastic first step and power in his initial contact. Sure-footed blocker with the ability to seek and destroy while pulling. | Shorter arms will keep him inside and limit his position flex. Not impressed with the hand usage. Gets outside his target and tends to struggle on resets. Technique needs to see some refinement in the right areas to improve. |
OVERVIEW: Kandra was a hometown product who returned to Cincinnati after a productive two full seasons at Louisville. He had a rocky 2023 campaign, starting at right guard and allowing four sacks and 17 pressures over 451 pass blocking snaps. However, the adjustments he made in year two with the Bearcats worked. He had only eight pressures allowed and no sacks given up over 447 snaps in pass protection. This production led to All-Big 12 honors and cemented him as a legitimate draft prospect.
