Size, movement and anchor are all built to succeed. Strong upper body with length to hold interior rushers under control. Barrels through defenders when pulling, finishes with a mean streak and violence. | Footwork was spotty and slow at times. Relies on his strength and build, allowing his technique to slip. Would lumber out of his stance. Habit of getting tripped up in run blocking. |
OVERVIEW: In today's landscape of college football, it's rare to see someone of Booker's talent and stature remain on the interior of the offensive line. Most of the time, teams lack the tackle talent so they'll move a player out to fit their needs. However, with Kadyn Proctor lined up outside for Alabama, Booker was able to play his true position throughout his time in Tuscaloosa. Good thing. He was named a consensus All-American once and All-SEC twice, logging more than 1,700 snaps at guard over his three seasons in college football.
