Mike Green
2025 NFL Draft Prospect
  • Height: 6-3
  • Weight: 251
  • School: Marshall
  • Class: Junior
PRO CON
Extremely versatile lineman who is equally as imposing as a pass rusher and run defender. Ferocious motor that never quits. Moves exceptionally well for someone of his stature. Keeps his eyes up and stays active with his hands. Shorter arms (32 inches) compared to the other elite pass rushers. Would lose contain and get reached on blocks by pulling guards at times. Could still add a few pounds to his frame.

OVERVIEW: Players switch positions at the college level every day, but those decisions don't always go the same way that Mike Green's did, as he moved from wide receiver to linebacker to full time edge rusher. Good thing he did because Green topped college football in sacks (17) during his final season with the Thundering Herd to capture Sun Belt Player of the Year and All-America honors. He started his career at Virginia as an underutilized linebacker and added around 35 pounds while keeping his speed and agility. Quite the story and quite the prospect.
