Explosive force off the line of scrimmage. Jars offensive linemen backward with his imposing frame. Grant shows a great arsenal of winning pass-rush moves and the knowledge of how to use them. High motor for his size. | Gets really high with his pads right off the snap. Opens the door for more technical offensive linemen to gain leverage. Could benefit from improving counterattacks since he allowed blockers to reset their hands. |
OVERVIEW: Grant was another part of the magnificent Michigan defensive line from the 2023 national championship run. The Indiana native was a two-year starter in Ann Arbor and was named to the All-Big Ten team twice. In both his years on the first-string unit, Grant finished with at least 23 pressures, paired with five sacks in 2023 and three more in 2024. There are some early questions on whether he can play all three downs, but even as a two-down lineman, Grant could still make an impact.
