Disruptive motor with a mean streak of finishing. Lined up all the way across the Gamecocks’ defensive front. Great with his hand placement and pad leverage off the snap. Solid lateral movement and speed to the ball. | Starts a little slow off the line of scrimmage. Had the tendency to falter late in games, showing a lack of conditioning. Wasn’t always reliable in the run game, appeared to get pushed out of gaps and struggled to anchor. |
OVERVIEW: One of the rare four-year prospects that played every college snap with the same program, Sanders was a capable run stuffer and significant contributor in the pass rush. His final season was his most productive, finishing with All-SEC honors after stacking up 50 tackles, seven tackles for loss and four sacks. His motor will allow him to play up and down the line. However, he'll have to improve the conditioning element and refine his technique a bit before he can move into the elite category.
