Extremely quick first step and ability to take up multiple gaps with lateral ability. Size and athleticism allow him to line up anywhere on the defensive line. Nolen’s pass-rush ability is there as he was constantly productive in the SEC. | Shorter arms (32½ inches) limit his pass-rush moves and ability to disengage from blockers. Tends to get caught with high pad level and thrown off his spot. There were some mixed reports on his work ethic from staff at Texas A&M. |
OVERVIEW: From one dominant defensive line to the other, Nolen found success with both Texas A&M for two years before one season at Ole Miss. He tied for the team lead with 14 tackles for loss and finished fourth with 6.5 sacks in 2024. His production also shined off the box score with 35 pressures last season, more than doubling his total in two years with the Aggies. Nolen finished his career as an All-American, having anchored one of the best defensive lines in Ole Miss history.
