2025 NFL Draft Prospect
  • Height: 6-1
  • Weight: 236
  • School: Penn State
  • Class: Junior
PRO CON
Plays at his best as a run defender. Thumper from the second level and plays through contact. Elite tackler who doesn’t lose after he gets his hands on his target. Quick at shedding blocks. Not quick enough to cover sideline to sideline and will get beat to the spot against quicker ball carriers. Change of direction and footwork in coverage will be a project to work on. He is sometimes late to read and react.

OVERVIEW: King finished his career as a three-year starter for the Nittany Lions defense and continued to elevate his game in the process. His 2024 season cemented his legacy as one of the best pure run defenders in college football, tallying 97 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks as a team captain. He earned All-Big Ten recognition and finished inside the top 10 in conference tackles. There are times teams would attack his coverage skills and opponents will do that early in the NFL. Fix that, and he has a chance to be the steal of the draft.
