Best hands in the draft class. Doesn’t miss a set and is a technician when recovering or resetting. Plays with a mean streak, especially in the run game. Strong lower body with the ability to anchor. | Shorter arms (32⅝ inches) for the position may force a move inside. Traveled up field too much at times, leading to oversets and bad leverage. There were snaps where he’d lose anchor and give way to stronger bull rushes. Mostly due to high pad level. |
OVERVIEW: It could be argued that Campbell leaves Baton Rouge as the most decorated offensive lineman in program history. He started each of the last three seasons as the Tigers' left tackle and was named a consensus All-American in his final campaign. He allowed just two sacks and 18 pressures during the 2024 season, but was called for a penalty nine times. His shorter arms will beg the question about a move to guard in the NFL. It'll depend on how teams view him in private workouts.
