Has a football IQ that’s near the top of his class. Paired with his incredible arm talent and overall athleticism, he has a chance to be special. Releases passes down field in an instant and takes care of the football while on the run. | Tries to do too much at times, leading to poor decisions and turnovers. Negative plays were common, both from offensive line struggles and trying to extend plays. |
OVERVIEW: Son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Cowboys cornerback Deion Sanders, Shedeur played for his father, who was the head coach at both Jackson State and Colorado. Despite the nationwide microscope, Shedeur always found success wherever he was playing. He was named Freshman of the Year in 2021 and the SWAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 with Jackson State. Then he was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award during his final season in Colorado.
