Good build and speed for the nickel position. Can turn and cover, with a stout backpedal, but his calling card is winning with his hands and tackling ability. Will reroute wide receivers at the line of scrimmage and disrupt timing. | Not very polished in his footwork, will misstep and get caught in between moves or coverages. Shows some trouble finding the ball or making quick reads from the secondary. |
OVERVIEW: The attention of NFL Draft coverage has continued to grow for Ransaw based on his efforts at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine. Both events showcased his athleticism and ball skills as he had an interception in the Senior Bowl and set some incredible numbers in the 40-yard-dash, vertical jump and broad jump. He was a key in Tulane's secondary resurgence this season, leading the Green Wave to the American Conference title game. He allowed just 10 receptions on 23 targets, not a bad start to build from.
